SAIB was awarded “2018 Shanghai Cruise Service Contribution Award” （2018-10-18）
On September 23th 2018, as one of the important activities in 2018 Shanghai Tourism Festival, the Opening Ceremony of 2018 Shanghai Cruise Tourism Festival was held at the Zero Square in Shanghai Baoshan District. SAIB chairman Mr. Bao Rongqing was invited to attend that opening ceremony. SAIB Deputy GM Mr. Ying Minmin accepted “2018 Shanghai Cruise Service Contribution Award” on behalf of the company.
On that Opening Ceremony of 2018 Shanghai Cruise Tourism Festival, there were 17 entities, including 15 governmental agencies and 2 enterprises, getting “2018 Shanghai Cruise Service Contribution Award” which was the most important and influential award. SAIB was much honored to be one of the two enterprises which got the award.
In 2016, SIAB innovatively developed and promoted “Shanghai Cruise Delay and Cancellation Comprehensive Insurance”, and effectively assisted government to promote the development of China Cruise Economy by means of insurance. SAIB was awarded “2016 Shanghai Promotion of Modern Shipping Services Innovation Project” in that year.
SAIB sets up the insurance claim service point in the front line of Baoshan Wusong International Cruise Terminal and provides face to face insurance service. The newly renovated Baoshan Cruise Insurance Claim Service Center recently was reopened to provide a more comfortable environment for tourists to make insurance claim. In case of the sudden heavy weather like typhoon, staffs of Baoshan Cruise Insurance Claim Service Center often have to work overtime to settle the claims of a large number of tourists from home and abroad.
SAIB always provides the meticulous, sincere, professional and efficient service from the interest of cruise tourists and makes important contributions to the development of shanghai cruise service, and that is the reason why SAIB could get “2018 Shanghai Cruise Service Contribution Award”.
Shanghai Cruise Delay and Cancellation Comprehensive Insurance which was promoted by SAIB firstly assisted to resolve emergency disputes during cruise traveling by using creative insurance market approach to fill in the blank of services of Shanghai International Shipping Center.
In the future, SAIB will continue to improve the service operation and the system of insurance claim service to provide more efficient and convenient service for cruise tourists, and meanwhile make contribution to further accelerating the establishment of Shanghai International Shipping Center and the development of shipping service industry.
